Chumoukedima, Nagaland, July 5 (HBTV): The police administration of Dimapur has issued an advisory cautioning citizens and commuters from using National Highway-29 during heavy rainfall. Rocks fell onto the highway, between the Chathe Bridge and Kukidolong, on July 5. This stretch of the road has become vulnerable for public commute, a note from the Dimapur highway received here on Friday stated.     

Travelers are advised not to travel along the vulnerable areas of the National Highway during heavy rains. Non-essential movement along the route and travelling at night, too, should be avoided, the police said. Further, the police advised against stopping along the vulnerable areas.     

‘Travelers are advised to maintain safe distances along the vulnerable areas of the National Highway and maintain extreme caution,’ the police added.
